***PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE LIST. THERE ARE SEVERAL MAJOR CHANGES***

The parade will go on rain or shine.

This year, all registration fees must be paid at the time of registration. A two‑sentence introduction of your unit is required and must be submitted when you register. Please prepare your introduction before beginning the registration process. The system will not proceed without it.

The lineup is limited to 100 units, and we are unable to accommodate additional entries once that limit is reached.

Lineup position numbers will be provided on parade day. We are unable to honor requests for specific placement. Staging area assignments and event instructions will be emailed on June 1st.

Entries may not include additional organizations or groups within a single registration. Each participating entity must submit its own separate entry.

All units are limited to one vehicle unless the unit is a parade sponsor at the Bronze Level or higher. Noncompliance will lead to the removal of the entire unit from the lineup.

For your convenience, a staffed first aid station and a portable toilet will be available in the staging area. Bottled water will also be provided.

Our elders will be invited to enjoy lunch and view the parade. They will be seated at 24th & Miami St. Please ensure that members of your unit acknowledge our elders and offer them treats as you pass along the route.

This year, cheer teams, drill teams, dance teams, fraternities, sororities, and floats will all have the opportunity to compete for the Best of the Best trophies. Winners will be announced on Monday, June 15. Two representatives from each winning unit will be invited to receive their trophy on Saturday, June 20, during the NAACP General Membership meeting.

Please utilize the trash receptacles in your staging area and clean up any litter. Let’s respect the volunteers who are working hard to maintain cleanliness in the staging areas and along the parade route.

All motor vehicles must be decorated and display signs identifying the name of the entry.

Designated lineup areas will be assigned for all motor vehicles. Walkers are not permitted in the vehicle lineup area. You will reunite with your vehicle when directed to enter the lineup. Motor vehicles will lead their entry, with pedestrians walking behind their own vehicles.

Each motor vehicle will receive a lineup number, which must be displayed in the lower corner of the driver-side front windshield. Any vehicle in the lineup without a number will be considered unregistered and the entire unit will be removed from the lineup.

Please refrain from parking your vehicle in the staging area parking lots, as these are private properties. Any vehicles left unattended in the staging area lots will be towed at the owner’s expense.
